... Ahahahaha, time for more ancient and poorly rendered sketchbook fodder! 8D

This one was a relatively quick and sloppy mechanical pencil scribble from... eh... some period I can't recall exactly during the summer, I think. I know that some of the anatomy (like the LEGS OH GOD WHY DID I SUCK HARDCORE BACK THEN) is jacked up beyond all reason, but that's alright; I still have a certain fondness for this shoddy, silly scrap.

This character is Hanshi: an FMA-verse type chimera who was originally created out of raw spite for all the cliched, super powered, blond haired and perfectly formed garbage I saw floating around roleplay forums. She's the end result of a botched alchemic fusion between the pre-deceased body of a dog and a living human (there may be other minor components thrown in to attribute for her strange mane/tail, but they are largely unknown/irrelevent). Constantly falling apart (almost literally), she has a number of deformities-- most of which can't be seen from the naked eye, regarding things like malformed organ systems-- but manages to keep moving along from day to day... somewhat, at least, thanks to her constant rough "self fixes." She may not be someone I use actively anymore, but she's still very near and dear to my heart: one of those characters whose tenacity just kind of... makes you sympathize.

Ahahahaha, there I go again, getting all nostalgic over silly OCs. XD Either way, I love this gal. She needs a better, more current ref image soon.

Do not steal/use/redistribute/etc under any circumstances, please and thanks.

The oddest of characters usually have the most spirit, or at least stick in your head a little longer. Love the idea-- diseased, necrotic, malformed or mutated creatures seem to be my calling, lol. They hold a place in my heart that no cute fuzzy bunny could ever fill. Excellent idea, beautiful rendering. I think you're too hard on yourself about the anatomy of the legs, the shoulders and forelegs are the only thing I see any problem with, and besides-- if I ever draw something that anatomically incorrect I just chalk it up to "made-up creature" and rules concerning physics become forfiet. xD It's the cheaters way but it works for me.

Well, you certainly do the diseased, necrotic, malformed and mutated creatures well! I agree, though; artistic license is love and I'm probably a little too hard on m'self sometimes, but... we're all our own worst critics. XD
I have a soft spot for the scruffy survivor type, plus the design is very neat.

Realy cool sketch, I love her eye and and the messy fur/mane.
I think the anatomy is fine except maybe the back legs are a bit small in comparison to the front of her body.

It'd be cool to see a coloured version of this!

She is structured a lot like a hyena, but pushed to more of a were-wolf. I love this.
