Starting off here, guys, I'd like to thank everyone that commented over my journal-- as well as apologize for my long, long absence again. The support was wonderful, and it's revived my passion for dA-- so keep a lookout for new (old) work pouring in!

This is an old piece from last year's AP portfolio-- the one that got me a 5 and helped me into college, actually. My concentration was centered around different birds through the history of art, and this one ended up being an art nouveau... uh... thing.

Cookies for anyone who can name the piece I used for reference!

I may upload my entire 12 piece concentration over the new couple of days, I think! Mmmm, birdy goodness. It feels good to be back.

Your inking skills make me sick. Stop being so talented. i love love LOVE the designs in this-- the lines....my God, the lines. They are so beautiful. I'm still holding out foryour pencil shading though. >D

I remember seeing this one in the art case... area... thing! I loved staring at these so much. <3 It's very beautiful and I love seeing it again. :heart: The lines are gorgeous~
