H-Holy wow, you guys! ;_; This daily deviation is just... my brain is still trying to wrap itself around the fact.

Thank you so much to ALL of you for your wonderful comments and kind words; each and every one of them brings a new feeling of warm and fuzzy to my little heart. I'm so incredibly honored and thankful and overwhelmed and just AAAAGH REBOOT REBOOT, BRAIN FAILING. CAKE = LIIIIIIE.

<3 So much kudos and appreciation to everybody. It means more to me than I can ever hope to articulate!

On a side note, I want to throw a question out into the public. I've been on a massive music downloading binge lately, and I'm looking for some wonderful new sound to spark my inspiration. That said, I'd like to ask...

Do any of you have suggestions? 8D

I love just about every genre of music, sans rap and country. Foreign stuff (lol otaku here!) or English, it doesn't really matter; I'm open to just about everything. I just like sounds that are... unique, inspiring-- you know, the kind of thing that stirs a certain feeling or mood when the notes hit your ears. Ethereally pretty, pricklingly otherworldly, disturbingly dank or just downright screamy, anything will do. It can be from the mainstream or off the beaten path, video games, shows, soundtracks, anime, et cetera.

SOOOOO, if anyone has a great band or song in particular they're into, wanna chuck it at the suggestion box? <3

Actually, if you'll look at the first part of my post, I did. XD I just told her that she needed to give credit where credit was due, gave a link to the manga page up there... and then proceeded to point out the somewhat alarming/suspicious identical parts of her image in comparison to the original.

That girl needs to credit her damned resources. Specifically. Not just "reference used", but "reference from D. Gray-man, chapter 65, panel 17." Because I'm a little sick from watching her soak up all of the comments on AWESOME PERSPECTIVE AND POSE without mentioning the fact that... you know, she isn't responsible for that part at all and doesn't deserve that credit.

I find it rather frustrating and cowardice that the artist didn't even MENTION using a reference, then HID my polite advisory to do so. To be perfectly honest, half of me believes it was a blatant trace, via a layover I tried for fun.

So there you have it; I'd just feel terrible if I kept such a fun tidbit of information to myself, after all. Refusing to give proper credit for such an obvious rip is extremely unprofessional AND unfair to the original artist. It's a decent picture, granted, but... that pose/perspective that EVERYONE is raving about to be so "ZOMG AWESOME AND PRETTY!" is... well, NOT hers to begin with.
